The Ladies’ College O.G.A. (Kandy Branch) has a membership of 25 and we have tea meetings on a fairly regular basis.
With President Vedini Eriyagama at the helm, we celebrated the 40th Anniversary of our branch with a dinner as a Fund raiser on the 14th of November 2009, at the Royal Mall, Kandy. It was a tremendous success and with the generous contributions received, a sum of Rs. 50,000.00 was donated to the Cancer Home in Kandy. We are presently in the process of negotiating with the centre for the Handicapped in Pallekelle, Kandy to donate artificial limbs to a few wounded soldiers in the near future. We have also assisted the “Navodhaya” Childrens’ Home for the differently abled by purchasing cloth flowers made by them in red and white for the table décor for our function.
We are hoping to have our AGM soon to elect our office bearers for the year 2010/2011.

LC PPA Victoria
We organised a get together in October to coincide with the celebrations that were taking place in Colombo for the OGA’s 100th year.
At this get together we managed to collect some funds through generous contributions by all the LCites present, as well as from the sale of T-Shirts. This donation was sent to the OGA.
The group tries to meet at least 3-4 times a year.
If you are interested in joining in their activities or wish to contact them their email address is email@example.com.
